Scan Global Logistics (SGL), the global logistics provider, continues its growth path in Latin America through a combination of new market entries, expansions and acquisitions. By opening new offices in Argentina and Colombia and improving service operations in Chile, Peru, and Mexico, the company is expanding product offerings and adding new competencies in new and existing locations. In addition, SGL recently signed the papers to acquire BLU Logistics in Brazil, a leading Brazilian freight forwarder that will add expertise mainly on the China and Southeast Asia trade lanes to SGL’s global network.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) continues its growth path in Latin America with the acquisition of Blu Logistics Brasil (Blu). The largest country in South America, Brazil is the world’s eighth-largest economy, holding immense potential for the global logistics provider. Blu Logistics was founded in 2013 and quickly established itself as a leading freight forwarder in Brazil, and boasting impressive growth rates of 27% and 47% in the last two years alone.

The global logistics provider, Scan Global Logistics (SGL), strengthens its position within government and defence by acquiring Portuguese logistics company FLS (Freight & Logistics Solutions). Portugal is an important gateway to South America and regions in Africa and completes the SGL’s footprint on the Iberic Peninsula. With the acquisition of FLS, SGL is now represented in 49 countries worldwide.

Establishing itself in Switzerland is the logical choice for global logistics provider Scan Global Logistics (SGL). Switzerland, well-known for its effective infrastructure and advantageous proximity to key European markets, is the home base for many industry-leading and multinational companies in various industries. By acquiring Belglobe GmbH, SGL adds close to three decades of market presence and a strong position within industries such as Pharma Healthcare and luxury consumables.

Danish golfer Amalie Leth-Nissen turned pro in 2023 after securing a place on the 2023 Ladies European Tour. Announcing her partnership with Scan Global Logistics, she becomes the fourth golfer sponsored by the fast-growing global transport and logistics provider, along with LPGA player Emily Kristine Pedersen and PGA profiles Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Alfa Laval announce the launch of their first electric Scania truck as part of their zero-emissions partnership.
