Science Based Targets and the Exponential Roadmap initiative

Scan Global Logistics’ (SGL’s) strategy towards sustainability is anchored in science and we therefore joined the Science Based Targets initiative in 2020. As part of the Science Based Targets initiative we have committed to an ambition aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5˚C and reaching net-zero in 2050. We will do this by halving our CO2 emissions across all scopes (1, 2 and 3) every decade  until 2050 with 2020 as our baseline year. Besides our commitment to the Science Based Target initiative, we have also joined the Exponential Roadmap initiative and the subgroup ‘1.5˚C Supply Chain Leaders’ with the same target commitment of halving emissions every decade reaching net-zero in 2050.
