27 Dec, 2021

On 1 January 2022 full Customs controls will apply and there is no possibility to pass UK ports other than with a full import declaration.

Since leaving the EU, UK Customs have allowed a relaxed approach to submitting import Customs declarations which included delayed declarations for non-controlled goods brought into Great Britain (England, Scotland & Wales) from the EU.

On 1 January 2022 full Customs controls will apply and there is no possibility to pass UK ports other than with a full import declaration.
