Scan Global Logistics (SGL) acquires Sand Road Freight in Herning as part of the company's ambitious growth strategy. Sand Road Freight is known as a leading road transport carrier on the trade between Denmark and the Benelux countries (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg).

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) will strengthen its market position in Europe's largest logistics market, Germany, by adding the Top 50 ocean freight forwarder ETS Transport & Logistics GmbH (ETS) to the group. The partnership will add scale and commercial muscles to SGL's German organisation, especially within ocean freight. The combined organisation of more than 100 experienced logistics professionals will significantly strengthen the global freight forwarder's position in the German market.
