Scan Global Logistics (SGL) will strengthen its market position in Europe's largest logistics market, Germany, by adding the Top 50 ocean freight forwarder ETS Transport & Logistics GmbH (ETS) to the group. The partnership will add scale and commercial muscles to SGL's German organisation, especially within ocean freight. The combined organisation of more than 100 experienced logistics professionals will significantly strengthen the global freight forwarder's position in the German market.

Along with pickup and delivery challenges due to COVID-19 lockdowns, we found a way to ensure their forecasted volumes could be shipped.

When COVID-19 caused lockdowns across ports worldwide and subsequent blank sailings, it hindered progress in various global projects of a solar tracker and components customer within the photovoltaic industry.
