Making the world a little less complicated for our customers requires that we constantly pursue new and simpler ways of doing business together. Supporting these efforts, a fully modernized digital experience is underway for SGL customers, as we later this year will roll out our new web portal “mysgl.scangl.com”. This portal is designed to make interactions smoother, easier and more transparent while ensuring that you can locate all relevant information about our joint business in one place.

We develop this new web portal to ensure that complex logistics monitoring becomes easier and more efficient, where you will have all of your transport management functionalities at the tip of your fingers. Key features include improved and more intuitive user functionality, on-demand reporting, shipment tracking, online booking of all transport modes, rate calculation and an advanced PO & Exception Management Module that caters for end2end Supply Chain visibility. In other words, it will be easier to work with us and retrieve the information you need. We will still only be a phone call away when you need personal support. We do believe in the fact that systems supports both our people and your business hence digitization simply means daily business will become easier, but it does not replace our daily dialogue.

IT Director, Kuno Jensen drive the project and he says, “We aim to help our customers save time by making the system easier to navigate in and it is designed with one look and feel across all modules and across all products - we will make it a little less complicated”.

Real-time delivery of reporting and performance management will make it easier to access the information you need to run your business. Some of the new features include an app for drivers, so we can provide POD and IOD onsite, saving time and increasing transparency.

Popular features form our existing setup will remain, such as the rate calculator, which gives customers the ability to compare transport time versus transport cost before selecting the right mode of transport.

You will start to see the difference and enjoy the digital benefits, including the new tools, already this year. Each feature will be accessible as soon as they are ready and you can expect further communication from us when the new portal is ready to go-live.
